Morning Departure - 7 AM or 9 AM:
Just 40 minutes from Tokyo Station via the Shinkansen, our meeting point and drop-off location will be Mishima Station (North Exit).

Upon your arrival, I will personally greet you outside the station, and we will commence our journey.

Please be aware that at the tour's end time, we are unable to provide return transportation to your hotel due to local transportation regulations.

From Mishima City, we'll drive the notorious ROUTE 1 up to the the Anest Iwata Sky Lounge.

Formerly known as the Mazda Turnpike, the Sky Lounge offers stunning views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashinoko. It's a prime destination for spontaneous car meetups, where you're likely to spot JDM classics, American muscle, and exotic supercars.

After soaking in the sights, we'll cruise down the famous Tsubaki Line, a road featured in Initial D and home to Team Sidewinder, as we make our way to the scenic shores of Lake Ashinoko.

LAKE ASHINOKO

Approximately 3,100 years ago, an eruption near Owakudani formed Lake Ashii.
According to local lore, Lake Ashi was once inhabited by a nine-headed dragon.

LUNCH TIME

Motohakone-ko offers a variety of delightful restaurants to dine at. As we stroll through the town, we can take note of where to enjoy lunch.

HAKONE SHRINE

Hakone Daigongen has been revered since ancient times as the guardian deity of the Kanto region. This deity is worshipped for bringing good fortune, warding off evil, fulfilling wishes, ensuring traffic safety, and aiding in finding a partner.

As we head back to Mishima City, we'll take the Ashinoko Skyline—a 10.7-kilometer mountain pass renowned as one of Japan's best driving roads. This scenic route offers sweeping panoramic views of Mt. Fuji, the Izu Peninsula, and Suruga Bay

Mikuni Pass | 三国峠

Take in the panoramic view of Mt. Fuji, the central areas of Mishima and Numazu Cities, and the Izu Peninsula across Suruga Bay.

Melody Road

The road will magically play a catchy tune from one of the most-sung songs in karaoke from an extremely popular anime series.

From the Ashinoko Skyline, we'll return via the downhill Route 1 into Mishima City

EXPLORE THE SHRINE

Classified as a Cultural Property by the Japanese Government, Mishima Shrine dates back to the Tokugawa Shogunate, and acts as the gateway to the Izu region.

LEARN THE CUSTOMS

As we enter Mishima Shrine, you can practice proper shrine etiquette. Such as; how to cleanse before entering, prayer, and the customs of omamori.

FEED THE DEER

Deer originally from Nara were gifted to Mishima Shrine over 100 years ago during the Taisho era. Senbei crackers can be purchased to feed them.

After Mishima Shrine, we'll return to Mishima Station North exit.
Unfortunately, I cannot drive you back to your hotel / Airbnb, etc.
